Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to align with UI/UX design requirements and specifications.
  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into responsive, interactive, and visually appealing WordPress websites.
  • Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times, smooth transitions, and a satisfying user experience across various devices and browsers.
  • Continuously improve and update existing WordPress themes to align with evolving design trends, technology advancements, and user expectations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality projects within established timelines and scope.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues related to the website's functionality, appearance, and user experience, and recommend solutions to improve the overall product.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design and WordPress development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, UI/UX Design, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in WordPress development and UI/UX design.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Bootstrap/JQuery/ Framework, and related front-end technologies.
  • Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and customization techniques.
  • Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and best practices, and ability to translate them into effective designs.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience implementing accessible designs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and with clients.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail in identifying and resolving technical and design-related challenges.
