Position Details: Senior Business Analyst (Supply Chain)

Roles & responsibilities:

• Examine current and new business procedures.
• Elicit, analyze, specify, & validate requirements, and create workflows, user stories, & defect reports
• Liaison between lines of business and the development team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborating within the team
• Prepare technical functional specifications and business requirements through critical evaluation of information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
• Play a role in UAT to ensure a successful release.
• Focus heavily on cross-functional communication to ensure key decisions, risks, issues, and solution status are made clear to all.
• Scope and document requirements: Ability to understand, capture and model functional, non-functional (operational) and interface requirements for users of a system.
• Articulate requirements and success criteria using the test-driven, behaviour-driven, and acceptance-test-driven development methodologies.
• Maintains a view of the overall initiative requirements and features and knows how the individual components fit together Own the quality (INVEST criteria) of requirements for significant or new business features.
• Have the ability to break down the BA Scope of Work into manageable work packages to support the overall delivery of the plan. Utilizes modern and effective facilitation techniques to elicit requirements.

What we are looking for in this role:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Information Systems or Business Administration or related field required
• 4+years of experience in Business/Systems Analysis.
• Min 2 yrs experience in Supply Chain is required.
• Exposure to agile/scrum mode of working required.
• Familiarity with interpreting data and analyzing results using SQL, Excel etc.
• Strong presentation skills and a very confident communicator
• Experience working with an ERP solution is preferred.
