Location: Chennai (Sholinganallur)

Experience: 5-7+ Years in hunting new business for B2B IT services in international (US/ UK/ Europe) markets

Job Brief

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for growing net new business and new pipeline. They must be able to independently identify new prospects in their target market, generate new sales opportunities, work with internal teams to determine the right solution fit, and nurture strong client relationships towards closing the deal. This role requires strong communication, strategic thinking ability, excellent persistence and persuasive skills, and demonstrating a strong track record in a similar role previously.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a structured go-to-market plan for the assigned target market.
  • Identify prospective new customers and generate new sales leads.
  • Be the primary point of initial contact with new prospects and build long-term relationships to enable successful sales closure.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with the prospects.
  • Develop a good knowledge of Ignitho’s service offerings and leverage this to generate profitable revenue.
  • Work with internal teams to build and present viable solutions aligned with customer needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of agreed initiatives against agreed quotas and targets periodically to internal stakeholders.

Requirements and Skills

  • Must have proven experience in a similar role hunting net new B2B IT services business with US, UK or European customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business/ marketing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and online.
  • Aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management and planning ability.
  • Ability to make independently generate new sales leads.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
