Job Brief
The presales consultant will work closely with Ignitho’s sales and technical teams, providing valuable insights and solutions to potential clients. This role involves a strategic approach to understanding client needs and aligning Ignitho’s service offerings accordingly. This requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales and technical team to develop tailored presentations and proposals.
- Engage in client meetings to understand their requirements and offer relevant solutions.
- Deliver presentations/ demonstrations to clients and answer technical queries during the sales process.
- Conduct thorough research on prospective clients, and their industries, including competitor research.
- Gain valuable information through client and internal conversations which can be used effectively to improve the offering and increase sales closure rates.
- Encourage clients to buy more through proactive cross selling and upselling.
Requirements and Skills
- Must have proven experience in a presales role within the IT services industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
- Additional qualifications in business or marketing will be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- The ability to research and keep on top of industry developments.
