Job Brief

The presales consultant will work closely with Ignitho’s sales and technical teams, providing valuable insights and solutions to potential clients. This role involves a strategic approach to understanding client needs and aligning Ignitho’s service offerings accordingly. This requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales and technical team to develop tailored presentations and proposals.
  • Engage in client meetings to understand their requirements and offer relevant solutions.
  • Deliver presentations/ demonstrations to clients and answer technical queries during the sales process.
  • Conduct thorough research on prospective clients, and their industries, including competitor research.
  • Gain valuable information through client and internal conversations which can be used effectively to improve the offering and increase sales closure rates.
  • Encourage clients to buy more through proactive cross selling and upselling.

Requirements and Skills

  • Must have proven experience in a presales role within the IT services industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
  • Additional qualifications in business or marketing will be a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • The ability to research and keep on top of industry developments.
  • Influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Aptitude for time management and organisation.
