Experience: 5+ Years in lead generation, ideally within or related to the IT services industry
Job Brief
The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for independently generating new opportunities in the sales funnel and working closely with Ignitho’s field sales and technical teams to develop relevant solutions for potential clients and close the sale. This role requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking ability and experience with desk research to create a suitable prospect base.
Responsibilities
- Identify prospective new customers, generate fresh sales leads through cold/ warm calling and work with internal teams for successful conversion.
- Be the primary point of initial contact with new prospects and build long-term relationships to enable successful sales closure.
- Engage with new prospects through multiple channels including email, phone and LinkedIn.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with the prospects.
- Develop a good knowledge of Ignitho’s service offerings.
- Work with internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Clearly communicate the progress of agreed initiatives against agreed quotas and targets periodically to internal stakeholders.
Requirements and Skills
- Must have proven experience in lead generation with new prospects, ideally in or related to the IT services industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business/ marketing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and online.
- Aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management and planning ability.
- Ability to make cold/ warm calls and generate leads.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
